Movies and books still portray full-time fathers as bumbling buffoons, but that's not the whole story


The Christian Science Monitor has a nice story about Stay-at-Home Dads (SAHD). We're much maligned in the media (i.e. newspapers, movies, TV shows, etc) but the reality is vastly different - I'm not bumbling, and I know what's going on with my family. While I didn't choose to live my life this way - I'd much rather be working - I'm making the most of it and enjoying the time I get to spend with my kids - time I'd miss if I was working.

The notice and subsequent apology appears to mark the first time that a faulty notification has been made public. The incident also shows just how easily automated programs that search for copyrighted material can be fooled, as well as how disruptive such notices can be on college campuses.

'Cause, you know, they're never wrong. Even now - technically, Penn was in violation, so the RIAA was just doing it's job. Yeah, that's the ticket....
