Movies and books still portray full-time fathers as bumbling buffoons, but that's not the whole story
The Christian Science Monitor has a nice story about Stay-at-Home Dads (SAHD). We're much maligned in the media (i.e. newspapers, movies, TV shows, etc) but the reality is vastly different - I'm not bumbling, and I know what's going on with my family. While I didn't choose to live my life this way - I'd much rather be working - I'm making the most of it and enjoying the time I get to spend with my kids - time I'd miss if I was working.
Where's a winning lottery ticket when I need one?
